Julia Lepore is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan receiving both a B.A. in Psychology and a BFA in Dance with a minor in Entrepreneurship. As a four-year member of the University of Michigan Dance Team, Julia was able to balance her rigorous academic path alongside athletic commitments representing her University while also receiving the honor of earning MVP awards, Big-Ten awards, and Leadership awards. Julia was also an Eboard leader in the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, where she led the coordination of multiple events within Michigan Athletics. Throughout her time in the esteemed Michigan Dance Department, Julia has had the opportunity to perform in numerous BFA Thesis showcases, First Year Dance Company performances, and Power Center Performances choreographed by renowned choreographers. Throughout her time in college, Julia also combined the education she earned in both departments of her undergraduate degrees, to self-publish her first novel based on the psychology behind dance. The intent of this novel is to inspire younger dancers. Julia’s commitment to dance extends further, as she was also a member of Dance 2XS Michigan, an Ann Arbor based hip-hop club that performs student choreography at various campus events. Adjacent to the University’s performance opportunities, Julia continuously gains exponential education and exposure from attending dance conventions and events learning from many top-industry leaders across the U.S.

Originally from Shelby Township, MI, Julia's dance journey began at Suzette's Masters of Dance, where she trained in various styles, earning solo title honors and multiple perfect scores. She further enriched her experience as a three-year member of The Works Performing Arts Company where she gained experience performing in commercials for Rise Above Apparel, as well as other works. During her high school years, Julia was also a three-year member of the Eisenhower Varsity Dance Team, serving as captain in her senior year and securing a total of five UDA National Championships during her time in the program.

Beyond competitive commercial and concert dance, Julia shares her passion through teaching and choreography, crafting pieces for numerous dance studios and teams across the U.S. Julia is currently a proud Apprentice Choreographer and OFF-SEASON Staff Member for the TRIBE 99 Dance and Choreography Agency, where she continues to learn and grow teaching the next generation of dance all over the country!
